GFWAust were appointed by Woollahra Council to identify and seal a number of different leaks at their offices at Redleaf Double Bay.
The Redlaef building was built as a private residence in 1863 and was adopted as the Woollahra Council Offices in 1947. With space requirements at a premium by the late 1990s the decision was made to restore and undertake redevelopments at Redleaf. The restored and extended building was officially opened on 22 February 2001. The architects Allen Jack & Cottier, in association with Design 5, won the Energy Australia and National Trust Heritage Award for their adaptive reuse design in 2001.
GFWAust was appointed to identify and seal water ingress at a number of different locations at the intersection of the old and new structures. GFWAust used a combination of Dryflex resin injection and other sealing techniques to provide a watertight structure.
