GFWAust were asked by ADS Underpinning to stabilise the loose sand beneath the garage prior to them underpinning the walls. ADS underpinning were familiar with the possible inflow of sand from behind the wall while they were excavating for underpinning and therefore asked GFWaust to carry out permeation grouting to stabilise the sand.

The ground conditions were ideal for permeation grouting and the Body Corporate asked GFWAust also to improve the founding conditions of the front façade of the old 1920's building that was showing signs of settlement - this was also carried out by permeation grouting with microfine cement.
