Belmadar were appointed to install blast walls along the sides of the Maroubra Synagogue. This required excavation for new footings in the loose sand in restricted space. GFWAust were asked to provide sand stabilisation so that the footings could be excavated. This was carried out using microfine cements.

When contaminated soil was found inside the building GFWAust were asked again to stabilise the soil with permeation grouting so that it could be excavated.
