GFWAust were appointed to install the Cement Bentonite barrier between the Mobil Station and an adjacent development site
A new development adjacent to the Mobil Station in Gymea required an excavation to a depth of 1.5m. This excavation exposed some hydrocarbons in the ground beneath the Mobil Station which were then able to permeate into the adjacent site.Quantum Environmental determined a Cement Bentonite barrier wall with a liner along the boundary line to create an impermeable barrier for the hydrocarbon contaminants.
