GFWAust provided waterpoofing with Drytech to the basement sumps.
Pimas Gale were resposnsible for construction of a new apartment block at 25 Goodwin Street in Narrabeen on Sydney’s North Coast. The property included one level of basement into water logged sand. The site is affected by tidal flow from the nearby Narrabeen Lakes. To assist with construction Pimas Gale created four wells in the basement.
On completion of the basement construction the wells were backfilled, GFWAust were appointed to provide waterproofing to the concrete plugs in the basement slab.
GFWAust installed Drytech channels prior to the concrete pour and then injected DryFlex resin to provide a watertight seal to the construction joint. Dryflex has a very low viscosity and is able to penetrate the finest fractures. The Drytech channels provide a reservoir and channel to direct the Dryflex resin to where it is needed.
