The Bondi is a landmark hotel on the famous Bondi beach. GFWAust were appointed to provide permeation grouting along the southern and south west boundary of the site during refurbishment and basement development.

Richard Crookes Constructions were appointed to carry out refurbishment works to the building which included demolition of the single storey perimeter, redevelopment of some balconies on the ten storey tower, and excavation of a 7 to 8m deep basement in the south west corner for construction of a car stacker.

In order to minimize ground movements and potential destabilization of adjacent building GFWAust were appointed to provide permeation grouting along the southern and south west boundary of the site. This was achieved by injection of microfine cements to a depth of 2m in the natural sand deposits
